Fianlly a good playing opponent so i thought. And suddenly i play better. Advanced on the border to professional. But the funny thing is that he didnt played good at all. He played much worse then all others.

An upmost unbelievebel match. I reached a new record of minusluck. So far my reconrd was -37 which many people couldnt belive it is possible. But this time i made it to a luckrate of  -45.7 !!!!
Loosing 0 -7 as 60% favorite tells everything anyway.

There was just nothing interessting in this match to point out. A perfect first Game with no error. But 2 antijoker after a blunder from Gultekin. Second game also nearly perfect. one litte unimportend error. Biggest mistake was to double as it was too good to double but he took the cube anyway.
Only in the third game a had my one and only blunder i this match. Fortuna really hates me.

My classic weakness when playing a weak player. i play awful myself. finally i won with a luckrate of -2.3 but an errorrate of 16 is unacceptable bad.

Most interessting Positions during the match:

Allready at my second move i start my first high value blunder. I think many of us would have played like this and it dont look so bad to me. But rollouts dont lie, i loose 0.155 equity here.
right move is 13/8
__________________________________________________________________
This is a very interessting situation. My first thought was to close the 3. But looking deeper in the position i saw some disasterrolls and i was right. It would have been a equityloss of 0.531 !! There are 11 better moves then this. Would you have seen them ? Unfortunate the right move did not came to my mind. I played the second best option which is allready a blunder of 0.164 equity loss.
here the right thing to do

hitting here is a must but that she loose 0.411 equite still suprised me.

this was the only right double i did in this match ending up in a drop blunder.
Aysun still have a 25% chance to win this game. and the gammondanger is just 2%
a double 5 or double 6 and she is favorite. also i could have troubles to save my stones from 13.

I definitly agree with XG and start doubting about the use of Snowie.

What i learned out of this match is that i definitly should stop trying to be the nice guy.
I was disracted of not following rules even after asking for but didnt wanted to annoy with insisting. The result was that i was annoyed myself too much. Better my opponent is annoyed then me during playing. I will change this attitude in future. There is no need that everybody likes me :)

At least one win this weekend even i again did not played really good. Was not my day.
I dont know how valid the analize of Vedats play is because he did 2 illegal moves (both to his unfavor) which may corrupt the result. Once he played 3 times 2 at a double 2. and once he moved over my checker with a double 3 and didnt took out my checker. i told him after the game and he didnt believed me. But i have videoproof :)

Most interessting Positions during the match:

3 blunders in a raw ! What a success. With them i messed up my expert rating.

This blunder is interessting. I even would like to disagree. Does it make sense to argue with a rollout ?
I guess not. I feared the double 5 here which could end up badly in a gammon therefor i moved away from 22

but 8/6 would be the right move. difference -0.095
_________________________________________________________________________

Just the next move i did a blunder again. It didnt looked so bad to me to keep the checker on the 5. A roll  5/1 or 5/3 would be not good but if he comes in with 2 or 3 i am in pretty good position.

however 13/7 5/4 is the right move. difference -0.080
_________________________________________________________________________

and the third... grrrrr
What a disaster roll. I didnt see any alternativ moves here but its a blunder again.
The right move here looks really insane.
Would anybody of you have done this ? the equiditydifference is -0.191
_____________________________________________________________________

Two in one. A checker and cube blunder.
I thought too good to double. a good chance to hit 2 checkers or hit and close the 2
both looks pretty good for a gammon but not to double was a blunder. -0.105

of course non of the many good rolls where coming but still i saw a good chance for gammon and the risk to hit the 2 looked reasonable. also i keep the pressure and may be able to hit on 21.
but all my thougts was pretty wrong... a really big blunder -0.492
8/4 6/4 is the move
_____________________________________________________________________

also this looks interessting even we both did the right decision,
i thought it is a drop but double/take was correct.
________________________________________________________________________

another position where i am tempted to argue with the rollout :)
my move looks so pretty but -0.191
8/3 is the right move. As longer i look at it as lesser i can belive it.

Awful played, ashaming ! Searched for excuses but coulnd find any. Maybe temporary Insanity :)
Interessting is the difference of the Cube Play in the analyses inbetween Snowie and XG of Alberts play.

Most interessting Positions during the match:

I forgot the basic rule number 1 of checkerplay i teach to all beginners. "CLOSE THE 5"
even it looked so convenient to hit, closing the 5 is in 95% of the cases the right move
equidityloss of -0.102 not to close 5
__________________________________________________________
This position is really interessting. I think nearly everybody of us would have moved in the house like i did.
The right move here looks very scary and i would have considered as big blunder because the danger to get gammoned seems to be very high to me.

My move 6/4 5/2 is a equidityloss of -0.129

doesnt this move look insane? :)
_______________________________________________________________

This Position looked very heavy to me. Convinient enough for doubeling back to 8. especially considering the score of 4 - 1. I think i would have dropped the Cube. But Albert was right taking it. He is still slightly favorite in the game with 50.59% and my double is considered as blunder.

This sample would have been a very nice Quizzquestion :)

two most interessting positions

Its a bit offtopic because it was a unimportend online match but so interessting that i want to share.

The following two positions happen to me.
To be honest... I just dont fully understand the result of the analyze.

i felt really strong here and doubled. i was sure it is correct to double.
there is close to no roll which could make a problem and lots of rolls for a perfect go.
44, 55, 51,61 are clear winners. what ever my thoughts are wrong doubeling is considered as error.
chance to win the game is 71.48%. i really dont understand that doubeling here is a error

doubleclick the pictures to enlarge

but if you think such unclear situations are exeption here we go:
the same match just 2 games later i am in a situation where i somehow dont feel so extreme strong.
analize say that my chance to win is 71.03 %. the chance to win the game is lesser then the first example.
i didnt doubled and guess what !?? its a blunder not to double !!! isnt it crazy ?

the diffence is that in this case i have a 22 % chance for a gammon and nearly no chance for gammon in the first case. but come on, a blunder !
your oppinion is very welcome. share your thoughts about it.
